Well, I'm home

Actually, I have been home since Saturday but haven't had time to write. We had en essay due on Monday, and yours truly managed to not start it until Sunday. That, however, is over and done with. So, what about the Hague? In one word: not do-able. Give me a pint, a quiet corner and an hour or more of your time and we're getting there. I will do the short list here, and if there are any particular stories you want to hear, I will be home sometime this summer.

- Played the guitar on the main stage, doing a play-and-run in front of the largest committee. Stagejumped off to applause.
- Seen the Red Light district. Never going to buy sex. Ever.
- Met a host of new people.
- Shared a shisha with an American, an Ukrainian and an Englishman.
- Slept three and a half hours on average.
- Been to a Dutch police station.
- Salsa danced in the lobby of the World Forum while Graham played a Spanish tune.
- Bought a new guitar.

In short, an awesome week for many reasons, some only a very select few will hear over a pint or campfire. Also, next time I go travelling I will bring my own lube.

I've begun a project called "Play the World". It is very simple. I will do my best to have my guitar with me whenever I travel, and play her in new and wonderful places. See a separate post on this.

'Til next time.
