Some days...

..you just really enjoy. No matter the reason, you just enjoy them. I enjoyed mine today. The fresh seabreeze, the sun on my back, the time spent with the lads playing rugby at the beach and chatting with the girls. Summer is really coming along nicely, I have to say.

I've also been stressing about the trip to the Hague I'm shortly embarking on. To make matters worse, someone managed to get me to volunteer as travel organiser. So in the middle of matching ties to shirts and reading the last bits and pieces needed for the conference, I'm also receiving calls about when and where we'll be leaving, will they need a passport, should the bring Euros, what is the currency in the Netherlands, and if I'm up for a pint at Wetherspoons before the train leaves (yes, please, if I can skip my seminar).

So, last point tonight: Why? Why this blog? Well, first because I like to write. And because Kaede wanted me to make a new blog. But also because I, like so many others, really think I'm the centerpiece of the Earth (the rest of you can go hang, I'm the fucking center, not you. Blaggards) and will therefore force my small and unimportant everyday occurences, along with random pieces of prose, down your gullets. Continue at your own risk.
